About
I have seen firsthand the impact divorce can have on families, so I truly appreciate the opportunity to be a part of an organization that facilitates these matters with grace and compassion.
I was born in Bulgaria and, although my parents and I moved to the United States when I was young, I spent every summer in Bulgaria with my extended family. I grew up caught between two languages and two cultures, which drew me to study linguistics at my alma mater, the University of California, Berkeley.
I have always been a lover of words and grew up in a family of writers. I find that much of family law involves storytelling. Telling our clients’ stories is my favorite part of this work—giving them a voice and easing some of the most difficult moments of their lives.
Before entering the legal field, I worked in the hospitality industry as a bartender, server, and event planner. I love helping people no matter the scenario and believe taking small, caring measures can truly impact another person’s day, or even life. My time in hospitality has been indispensable to me in my current field. It taught me how to navigate fast paced and high-pressure situations with kindness, patience, and compassion.
I love developing relationships with our clients and giving each case a personal touch. Listening to people and consistently showing up for them builds trust and shows that we value them as much as they value us.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading (especially romance), writing, and taking long walks in beautiful places. Luckily, Washington State has no shortage of breathtaking sights! Still, my favorite times are the gloomy, rainy days spent at home with my partner and our two cats, Scout and Ranger.
